पीएच का क्या मतलब होता है?पीएच का पूरा मतलब होता है-पावर ऑफ हाइड्रोजन यानी हाइड्रोजन की शक्ति। हाइड्रोजन के अणु किसी चीज़ में उसकी अम्लीय या क्षारीय प्रवृत्ति को तय करते हैं। मतलब अगर किसी लिक्विड या प्रोडक्ट का पीएच 1 या 2 है तो वो अम्लीय है और अगर पीएच 13 या 14 है तो वो क्षारीय है। अगर पीएच 7 है तो वह न्यूट्रल है।
पीएच स्केल की खोज कब हुई?सॉरेन्सन का पूरा नाम सॉरेन पेडर लॉरिट्ज सॉरेन्सन है। S.P.L. सॉरेन्सन का जन्म 9 जनवरी 1868 को डेनमार्क के हावरेबर्ग शहर में हुआ था। इन्होंने ने रसायन विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में pH स्केल की खोज की थी।
